Minister Hassan Zareer and senior officials of the Ministry met today with the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) delegation, led by Mr. Muhammad Nassis bin Sulaiman, Head of the IsDB Regional Hub (Bangladesh and Maldives), and Mr. Iftekhar Alam, Senior Manager of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC).

Discussions focused on the strategic direction of the Maldives’ new Member Country Partnership Strategy (MCPS) 2026–2030 and opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between the Government of Maldives and the Islamic Development Bank Group in support of the country’s development priorities.The IsDB has been a longstanding development partner of the Maldives, supporting key national priorities through financing, technical assistance, and capacity-building initiatives across various sectors.
