The Ministry of Finance and Treasury’s Public Finance Institute, in collaboration with the IMF’s South Asia Regional Training and Technical Assistance Center (SARTTAC), conducted the training course on “Government Finance Statistics and Public Sector Debt Statistics (GFS-PSDS)” held in Maldives for the first time. Twenty-two participants from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, the National Bureau of Statistics, and the Maldives Monetary Authority completed one week-long training, held from 5-9 August 2018.
